Road traffic collision in Wellingborough

A serious road traffic collision took place at 4.10pm yesterday, on Finedon Road in Wellingborough.
A white Ford P100 pick-up truck left the carriageway and lodged itself on a nearside verge and ditch.

The driver was a 79-year-old male. He was taken to Kettering General Hospital.

His passenger a 35-year-old man was unhurt.
