Off road biker hurt in collision in Wellingborough

An off-road motorcyclist has been injured in a collision in Croyland Park in Wellingborough.

The incident happened at about 11pm on Saturday night, (July 19), when the Yamaha motorcycle was in collision with a barrier in the park.

The 19-year-old Wellingborough man riding the bike was taken to Kettering General Hosptial with serious abdominal injuries.

Officers from the Road Policing Unit are appealing for anyone who was in the park and witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact them on 08453 700700 or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.

No doubt he'll get some compensation from the taxpayer after his lawyer will find fault with the barrier which was not the correct height, unmarked, not painted bright flipping fluroescent orange.
And all while this clown clogs up the NHS system and KGH.

If it was a genuine biker stupidly taking a short cut then bad luck to them,if it was some toerag then its a shame they did not break their neck..would be one less moron to ruin the lives of the residents in the local community.
