Vidic denies criticism of Manchester, Kaka staying at Milan

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has denied criticising Manchester in an interview with Russian football magazine Football Weekly.

The Serbian told the club website: "I did not make these particular remarks. I enjoy my football here very much, am happy to be here, and have far too much respect for the people of Manchester, and England, to criticise them in this way." (www.manutd.com 1312)

Kaka claims he has no intention of joining Chelsea and has pledged his future to AC Milan. "Me going to Chelsea? I'm staying as a Rossoneri player," he said. (La Gazzetta dello Sport 0915)

Chelsea will make a final 80m bid for AC Milan's Kaka, with the Brazil star reportedly keen on a move after the arrival of compatriot Ronaldinho at the San Siro, whose lifestyle does not meet with Kaka's approval. (Daily Mail)
