Solkhon joins Steelmen

Corby Town have signed midfielder Brett Solkhon on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was released by Kettering Town, where he was the Poppies' longest serving player, at the end of last season.

And Steelmen boss Graham Drury is pleased to have finally got his man.

"I've been chasing Brett for a while and we'd had a couple of chats in the past about him joining us so I'm delighted he now has," Drury said.

Drury also confirmed that he hoped to have other signings completed in the next week as he looks to build a squad for the Steelmen's forthcoming Blue Square North campaign.

Meanwhile, former Kettering frontman Craig Westcarr has joined Coca-Cola League Two side Notts County and defender Luke Graham has signed for Blue Square Premier outfit Mansfield Town.
