Owen to have medical at Manchester United

Former England striker Michael Owen seems set to join Manchester United today.

The 29-year-old left Newcastle United when his contract ran out last month.

And, having been linked with a move to either Everton, Hull City or Stoke City, it now seems the man who scored 40 times in 89 appearances for his country will move to Old Trafford.
