International stars on show at Desborough

England's Greg Harlow was one of several internationals on show at Desborough as the club staged the finals of two national competitions – the Viviene Trophy for ladies and the Egham Trophy for mixed rinks.

The Viviene final featured Egham from Surrey and Riverain from Hitchin with the Surrey side enjoying a comfortable 95-64 win.

Harlow's City of Ely club from Cambridgeshire faced Torquay United from Devon in the Egham final.

Torquay had senior international Nicky Brett and junior international

James Webber in their line-up.

But Webber was no match for Harlow who thrashed him 30-4 as Ely took the title 89-43.
