Law wants Poppies to aim high in November
The Poppies sit in third place, just a point off the top two, ahead of this weekend’s trip to Farnborough after they returned to winning ways with a 2-0 success at Bishop’s Stortford on Tuesday night.
Kettering are scheduled to play seven matches in November, with five being in the league and Law insists they must start as they mean to go on this weekend.
“October was billed as a difficult month,” Law said.

“Now we go into a spell in November where, if we are going to chase a title or a play-off place, then we really need to be picking up a good number of points.
“That’s not to be disrespectful because we know we will be seriously tested in every game.
“We will have a look at Farnborough. This is a team who have beaten Hereford this season and they have Jamie Cureton who is still a big threat in their attack.
“There is a job to be done and we must go and do it.”

Hide AdLaw, meanwhile, says Kettering will “start the conversation” with Chesterfield about trying to extend the loan spell of young defender Marshall Willock.
He missed Tuesday’s win as he was set to play for the Spireites in their FA Youth Cup clash with Notts County last night (Thursday).
He is expected to be back for Saturday’s clash, which is the final game of his initial one-month loan stint.
And Law added: “Marshall had an FA Youth Cup match with Chesterfield last night and we all felt four games in the space of a week would be too much for the young lad.

“We will certainly start the conversation and I think we would like to keep him here for an extended period.
“But it will, of course, all come down to what Chesterfield and the player want and whether all parties are happy.”
