Poppies clash at Southport called off

Kettering Town’s Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Southport this afternoon has been postponed.

The Haig Avenue pitch passed a 3pm inspection on Friday afternoon and hopes were high that the game would go ahead.

But, after an early inspection this morning by a local official, the game has been called off.
