Drury's fury at remark
Corby Town boss Graham Drury was pleased with his side's professionalism in their 0-0 draw with Boston United in the Blue Square Bet North.
But he was less than impressed with the attitude of his opposite number Paul Hurst after the pair exchanged words at the final whistle.
"He told me I should be playing Sunday morning football and that I should be embarrassed because I've never been a professional player," said Drury.
"If that's how big time he wants to be and wants to carry it on in the car park afterwards then I don't have much time for him.
"But he's at my level, he's at my level for a reason and I've won more stuff than he'll ever win so if he wants to have a battle of trophies, he can come and have a look at my cabinet.
"We always believe we should be up with the pacesetters and teams that I've managed have always been up in the top five. Corby are no different.
"For him to say something like that is our of order but he can count the number of trophies I've won and then come and manage in Sunday football with me."
Of the game, Drury added: "I think it was a fair result because both teams cancelled each other out.
"I think both teams worked exceptionally hard and every player put in a real hard shift which is pleasing. Unfortunately, we didn't quite have that bit of quality to kill them off in the final third.
"I don't think it's a point gained because we were at home but we both had our moments.
"Chris Mackenzie tipped a great save over the bar and their keeper made a great double save to keep it at 0-0."
Meanwhile, the club are confident they will see their new ground completed.
Doubts had been cast on the future of the 1.5m project following the collapse of Corby-based construction company Weldon, who were in charge of the scheme.
But an agreement to suit all parties should be finalised shortly.
