Diamonds confirm summer schedule
Rushden & Diamonds have announced their pre-season programme - featuring sides from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur coming to Nene Park.
Garry Hill's new-look squad will start their summer schedule on Saturday, July 12 (3pm) by travelling to Essex-based Halstead Town of the Ridgeons Eastern Counties League.
Diamonds are first in action at Nene Park on Saturday, July 26 (3pm) when they face Peterborough United in the NFA Maunsell Cup final.
Other visitors will be Derby County (Tuesday, July 29 - 7.45pm), Arsenal XI (Thursday, July 31 - 7pm) and Tottenham Hotspur XI (Monday, August 4 - 7.30pm).
Ticket prices and full details are being finalised. The club are aiming to offer a 'mini season ticket' covering the three friendlies against Derby County, Arsenal XI and Tottenham Hotspur XI.
The Blue Square Premier season is set to start on Saturday, August 9.
