Steelbacks keep it tight at the Bears

The Steelbacks restricted their Warwickshire hosts to 232-8 in their Friends Provident Trophy match.
Some good bowling early on put Northamptonshire on top although the ever-reliable Jon Trott did his best to lift the Bears with fine 120 not out.

However he received no consistent support and at the halfway stage the task ahead of Nicky Boje's men looks eminently achievable.

With just two games left after this one, victory over the Bears has become almost essential if the Steelbacks are to secure a quarter-final place.
