Imraan Ladak had plenty to smile about after it was confirmed Kettering Town's FA Cup second-round replay with Notts County will be screened live on television.
The Setanta Sports cameras will be at the A-Line Arena a week
tomorrow as the Poppies look to book themselves a third-round date with Eastwood Town.

Having already disposed of Coca-Cola League Two outfit Lincoln City, Mark Cooper's men will be h
oping to do the same against the Magpies after the first clash ended in a 1-1 draw at Meadow Lane on Sunday.

However, as well as what is sure to be a big crowd, the Poppies have now scooped £40,000 for being chosen for live coverage while an extra £30,000 is available to the winners of the tie.

And that cash injection has left chairman Ladak delighted.

He said: "It's no secret that trying to run a club in the Blue Square
Premier can be expensive.

"We are in a financial climate that sees everyone struggling a bit and
when you get a boost like this it has to be welcomed.

"The FA Cup is very important to clubs like ours. Hopefully our run will continue for a little while longer."

Ladak, as he did in the replay win over Lincoln in the last stage at Sincil Bank, chose to sit with the 1,800-strong contingent of Poppies fans at Meadow Lane as Brett Solkhon's opener was cancelled out by Sean Canham.

And he is hoping the supporters can generate the same sort of atmosphere to make the A-Line Arena a real cauldron for the re-match.

"The following at Notts County was incredible and in terms of numbers it was bigger than some of our home crowds this season," he added.

"It's great that we are on the television for the replay but I hope people come along and get behind the team like they did on Sunday.

"The support was tremendous and we need the same again on our own ground. I honestly believe it makes a difference."
