Places still available, says Rob
Rob Dunion is happy with how Rothwell Town are progressing one week from the start of the season in the BGB Southern League Division One Midlands.
The Bones complete their pre-season tomorrow at home to Division One South & West side Cirencester Town – who were relegated from the Premier Division last season.
And Dunion will be fielding a side close to that expected to start their first league game at newcomers Arlesey Town.
"We've played Corby Town and Kettering Town in recent weeks and while we didn't win those games, we played well and I'm pleased with where we are at," said Dunion.
"Cirencester will be a good test for us and while I have in my head what I think my first-choice team will be, I'm looking to be persuaded otherwise.
"The side that plays tomorrow won't have Danny Marlow or David Glass in it because they're both unavailable.
"That opens the door for someone to come in and possibly stake a claim for a starting place next week."
