But, despite excellent play from Amelia Chapman and Sue Morris, they were not able to stop the strong Daventry attack.

Wildcatz lost 2-0 at Saints 2nd while Kettering 3rd are still looking for their first point after a 3-1 defeat to Rothwell & Desborough.

Kettering went 2-0 down but fought back and when a penalty corner from Michelle Tansor was initially blocked and Jenny Mason was the first to react to the rebound. However a late goal wrapped up Rothwell's victory.

Wellingborough under-13 juniors played another mixed seven-a-side tournament.

Strong play from Isaac Chapman, Milly Beesley and Sophie Billson led to one win, one draw and one defeat.
