Kettering Town grabbed a last-gasp equaliser and Rushden and Diamonds lost to a 90th minute strike on a dramatic day in the Blue Square Premier Leage.
The Poppies looked set to lose their unbeaten record until Gareth Seddon popped up in the 90th minute to claim a point.

Nicky Eaden cleared a header off the line just before half-time to keep it 0-0 at half-time before Yemi Obubade gave Oxford the lead after 72 minutes.

The home side looked set to hold on for victory until Seddon's late equaliser.

At Nene Park, the visitors Crawley Town kept Rushden and Diamonds at bay until former Chesterfied player Steve Fletcher grabbed a 90th minute winner.

Diamonds had four players booked in the second half as Crawley frustrated the home side, who have not won since the opening week of the season.

Corby, who started the weekend in fifth position in the British Gas Premier League, beat lowly Merthyr Tydfil 2-1.

Matt Nolan did the damage with goals in the sixth and 27th minutes.

Rothwell Town drew 0-0 with Malvern Town in the Midlands Division One.
