Burton Latimer 2nd took the derby-day honours in Division Four with a five-wicket win over Higham Ferrers.
Replying to the visitors' 200-7 in 50 overs, Burton reached 204-5 in 46.1 overs thanks to half-centuries from Alan Sewell (67) and Anthony Camsell (50) before Aaron Dunmore (43no) saw them over the line.

William Gray took 3-58 for Higham whose innings had earlier begun well as Terry Groome (53) and Danny Gould (25) put on 94 for the first wicket.

Alex Church (22) and Lee Rose (22) maintained the momentum before Edward Gray (31) and Tony Webbley (21) put on 51 for the fifth wicket.

But Higham were never able to fully escape the shackles of the Burton bowlers as between them Paul Hughes (3-36) and Bill Craddock (3-41) conceded only 77 runs in 29 overs. Burton Latimer 2nd 27pts, Higham Ferrers 6.
