The Eagle Bitter UCL Premier Division action kicks off tonight when Raunds Town take on Newport Pagnell Town at Kiln Park.
The Shopmates have been among the season's entertainers – none more so than in the last week.

In the FA Carlsberg Vase at Halstead last weekend manager Colin Ridgway ended up in goal and duly saved a penalty in a 4-2 win.

Then in midweek they w
ere involved in a nine-goal thriller at Desborough Town in the NFA Hillier Senior Cup – a game they ultimately lost.

But Ridgway knows the league is what matters and on that front they need to beat a Newport side sitting one place above them in mid-table.

"These cup games are all very well. But the league is the bread and butter and we need to start getting up that table," he said.

Mike Hearn (shin) is out so John Hughes will be between the posts. Joe Moriarty (foot) is also missing while Chris Walton returns.

Raunds from: Hughes, D Ridgway, Russell, Fitzgerald, Mitchell, Chambers, Turner, Spaughton, Jarvis, Davis, Singleton, Atkins, Coales, Taylor, Walton.

Raunds Res (away to Cogenhoe Res) from: Maber, Cosgrove, Hawkes, Dorrington, Coales, Walton, Willmott, Merries, Odell, Desborough, Patrick, Wills, Petigrew, Tite, Tompkins, Fowler. Meet 1.15pm.
