Two goals each from Jon Mitchell and Martin Thompson made it a convincing win for Wellingborough Town.
Tom O'Brien slid the ball home following Mitchell's shot to open the scoring against the Eagle Bitter United Counties League Premier Division's bottom team.
Mitchell then converted a penalty after a push on Thompson who lobbed in his first at the start of the second half. Both strikers then doubled their own tallys.
Doughboys boss Jason Burnham said: "It was a comfortable win for us."
Lee Thompson scored on his debut to seal three more points for S&L Corby at Potton.
The 18-year-old substitute netted with 10 minutes to go to complete a deserved victory for the visitors.
But assistant S&L manager Graham Leech admitted his side were not at their best.
He said: "We were in control but just couldn't finish.
"It was a bit scrappy. But we've got the result and that's the main thing."
Elsewhere, though, there were heavy defeats for Rothwell Corinthians - beaten 5-2 at league leaders Deeping Rangers - and Desborough Town who lost 3-0 to Stotfold.
Thrapston Town continued their fine form in Division One with a 2-1 home victory over ON Chenecks while Rushden & Higham United won by the same scoreline at Daventry United.
Managerless Whitworths shared four goals at Eynesbury Rovers but Irchester United were thrashed 7-1 by Peterborough Northern Star and Burton Park Wanderers went down 2-0 at Olney.
