Leicestershire could well include new signing Lee Daggett for the visit of Northamptonshire on Sunday.
The Foxes signed the seamer on a month's loan from Warwickshire after announcing the release of two bowlers.

Dan Rowe and Ryan Cummins have both left Grace Road in recent weeks so 25-year-old Daggett is needed to bolster a weak attack.
Chief exec
utive David Smith explained: "Lee will be considered for the game against Northamptonshire.

"After releasing Ryan and Daniel we are looking to strengthen our seam-bowling attack and are looking at a number of players as they become available."

Smith and senior coach Tim Boon are hopeful Daggett can make a
similar impact to that of Nadeem Malik who signed in the winter from Worcestershire and is currently homing in on 50 wickets.

"Lee comes highly recommended by Darren Maddy," Smith continued.

"Warwickshire have a large staff and they have made the decision that they don't want Lee. But we are very happy to look at him.

"We know that we have an excellent bowling coach in Lloyd Tennant so we will look at Lee in the next few weeks and see where that takes us.
"We are hoping that we can get quite a lot out of him."

Leicestershire have received a boost with news that batsman Matt Boyce will be fit to play for the remainder of the season.

The opener had an X-ray on the finger he damaged in the field against Essex last week amid fears that he had suffered a break.
However, that has proved not to be the case.

"It isn't anything that will stop Matt from playing the rest of the season and he is keen to get out there again," said Smith.
