RAIN stopped play in Northamptonshire's LV County Championship match with Leicestershire at Grace Road.
Resuming after lunch on 232-3, Northants had moved on to 276-3, with Rob White (56no) and David Sales (50no) both hitting unbeaten half-centuries, when the rain came and no further play was possible.

Sales and White's partnership is currently 119 and has helped Northants recover after the early losses in the morning of Riki Wessels (33) and Niall O'Brien (78), who fell to Nadim Malilk and Dillon du Preez respectively.
