Two young female footballers from Corby are celebrating after helping to guide their team to victory in a prestigious tournament.
Alex Hindwood (left) and Katie Hay play for Cambridge United under-17s girls team – despite both of them only being 14.

The team won the Easter Open in Holland recently.

Both girls travel to Cambridge every week for matches and training.
Alex attends Lodge Park School while Katie goes to Corby Community College.

"We didn't even concede a goal or anything during the tournament," said Alex. "There were teams from Italy, France Denmark, Holland and Sweden.

"It was quite a big tournament."
