Northampton Saints have confirmed the departure of another four players.
Tom Smith (retiring), Matt Lord (retiring), Barry Stewart (retiring) and Senior Academy forward Rob Milligan (medical advice) have already left while Sean Lamont will be at The Scarlets and Alex Rae will be at Bedford Blues from the start of next season.

In addition to these Ben Lewitt, Neil Starling, Will Harries and Phil Hoy are also leaving Franklin's Gardens for pastures new:

"Competition for places has been extremely high throughout the season and this is due to the commitment of all our squad players," said director of rugby Jim Mallinder.

"The first team has won the Challenge Cup, reached the Anglo-Welsh semi-final and finished in a mid-table position in the Guinness Premiership while the Wanderers have won the Guinness 'A' League.

"All of our squad have contributed to our good season and those players who are leaving can be proud of what they have achieved. I would like to wish them all the best for the future."
