Former Celtic and Manchester United star Henrik Larsson would consider a return to the Barclays Premier League amid reports he is a target for injury-ravaged Everton.
The 37-year-old striker is currently a free agent after his deal with Swedish club Helsingborgs ended, and is considering a move abroad in order to stay fit during the close season in his homeland.

He opted for a similar short-term transfer early last year when he joined United and played a vital supporting role as they swept to the Premier League title.

And with Everton missing frontmen Ayegbeni Yakubu, James Vaughan and Louis Saha due to injury, reports claim he could be invited to undertake a similar role at Goodison Park.

"I am a free agent and have not yet decided what to do next," he told the Daily Star.

"I like Helsingborgs, but I want to see a change of attitude and in the way the club is run before I sign again.

"I have not completely closed my mind to the idea of going abroad again, so we will see what happens."
