Corby Urgent Care closed briefly due to 'suspected virus'

A member of staff at Corby Urgent Care Centre confirmed that it had closed briefly earlier today (Saturday, February 15).

A Corby resident had posted in a Facebook community group to say the centre in Cottingham Road had closed "as a virus has been detected".

They said they had gone to collect medicine but had not been allowed in the building and the building was having a "deep clean".

Apparently patients were being referred to KGH while the building was closed but a staff member confirmed Corby Urgent Care Centre has since re-opened.
