Woman hit with golf club and robbed

A 37-year-old woman was struck with a golf club during a robbery that happened as she was walking home from work.

The woman was on a footpath at the rear of warehouses at Rhosili Road on the Brackmills Industrial Estate at about 4.15pm on Thursday 3 July when someone came up behind her and struck her on the back of the head with a golf clulb before taking her handbag and making off.
