What's ghost hunt like?
Many people ask me 'What's a Ghost hunt like ....well now's your chance to find out.
Have you ever thought, I would love to go on a Ghost hunt as seen on the television, well now is your chance to join member's of Northamptonshire's Paranormal Investigation team in a Ghost Hunt weekend from 27th February to 1st March 09. This is held at the amazing Spiritual Centre in Wales Hafan-y-coed in South Wales. This event is held once a year every year and in the past has brought about amazing results.
You will be actually hands on doing the Ghost hunt. Arriving on Friday afternoon and spend Friday evening meeting the rest of the people who will be on the weekend, on the Saturday you will be placed into groups of two or three and begin learning how to use all the equipment that will be used on the Investigation, equipment such as.
Electric Magnetic Field sensors
Temperature data logger
Dowsing rods
Digital Infra red video camera's
Digital camera
Compass
EVP equipment
Walkie talkie radio's
Movement detectors
It is important that you are familure with all this equipent so you do not miss that important piece of evidence as and when it happens, health and safety is also important and certain drills are practiced. Also this is a good time to get use to the rest of your group, the reason you will be in a group of two or three is that if you see, hear, smell anything other's can also back up your evidence. The food and accomodation is brilliant at Hafan-y-coed plus the staff and the Tutor staff ( Including me) are easy and fun to get on with.
On Saturday night after an early Dinner ( Grubs brillaint) we will begin gathering all the equipent together that you have been practicing on during the day and make our way to the location where you will be investigating, I will be moving around from group to group throughout the Ghost Hunt just to offer advice and ensure you are all OK.Through the night various activities will take place to ensure that you are in the most haunted areas of the location at all times. You can take part in various psychic experiments such as glass moving and dowsing as well as a final grand seance in the most active part of Hafan-y-coed. At the end of the investigation which will be between 2am and 3am, we will make our way back to Hafan-y-coed where hot soup and rolls will be on plus tea and cofee.
Then we will make our way to the great hall where we will be carrying out a seance, which will also be video'd to be able to capture any evidence. On Sunday we colate all the evidence taken from the Ghost Hunt and seance and go through carefully checking for what has been captured also reports on the Temperature equipment, cameras and Electric Voice Phenomena equipment.
That then is the weekend, it is full of action fun and although done in a serious note, after all we are looking for evidence you will end up making friends and meeting amazing like minded people, So how do you get on this well contact me on 01536 460097 for information. You do not need any Mediumistic experience to take part and enjoy this weekend.
Please bring warm clothing some goodies, sweeties etc. In the past we have had amazing Electronic Voice Phenomena, doors opening and closing, trigger objects moving. Scientific evidence is difficult to come by. Most people who have a paranormal experience don't have the equipment needed to record the event and paranormal experiences seldom happen on cue when the equipment is in place. This of course, leads skeptics to believe that nothing really happened, after all. But, for those who have experienced the paranormal, scientific proof is just icing on the cake. Whether you are looking for others who have had similar experiences or are looking for evidence that ghosts are real, you will find something of interest here.
Ghost Hunters, the new version of paranormal investigators, are forming groups across the country and abroad for the sole purpose of documenting paranormal experiences and catching ghosts on film. Toassist them in their search, many organizations have set up ghost cams in haunted locations that are accessible from the Internet.
The Lexington Ghost Cam: The USS Lexington, a US aircraft carrier that was commissioned in 1943, holds the record for serving the longest of any aircraft carrier in naval history. The Lexington participated in nearly all major operations in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was decommissioned in 1991. The carrier now resides in Corpus Christi.
There have been many reports of ghost sighting aboard the Lexington. One of the most dramatic reports involves a couple from Peoria, Ill that toured the Lexington. The coupled reported encountering ayoung man, approximately 19 years old, in the engine room of the ship. He presented in a white uniform, a limp of the left leg, and remarkable blue eyes. This young man shared information about the engines with the couple. It was not until they shared their appreciation of the knowledgeable young man with a worker on the carrier that they had any clue that who they had spoken to was actually an apparition. The worker, who knew there was no one in the engine room at the time, and who knew there were no workers fitting that description, ran to the engine room to investigate. No one was found. The ghost cam on the Lexington updates to a live photo image every 90 seconds. You can also view images caught by other viewers.
So if you are upto it, why not experience an amazing weekend, I hope to see you there.
