Victim punched and kicked in assault in Corby

A MAN was left with face and head injuries after being attacked in Corby.

Police have just released details of the assault and are appealing for witnesses.

The incident took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 13, when the victim and three other men got into a black cab at the junction of Sower Leys Road and Gainsborough Road in the town.

They got out of the cab at the junction of George Street and Cottingham Road and then walked to the boating lake.

At about 4.20pm the three males assaulted the victim by punching and kicking him, leaving him with facial and head injuries which required hospital treatment.

All three of the offenders were white men, one of which was using crutches.
