TV Heroes to visit the county

STARS from the hit US TV show Heroes are on their way to the county for a three-day fan conference.

Some of the show's biggest characters, including Dr Mohinder Suresh played by Sendhil Ramamurthy, cheerleader Claire Bennet played by Hayden Panettiere and Hero's childhood hero Takezo Kensei, played by David Anders, will be at the event.

The conference will be held at on March 14, 15, and 16 at The Park Inn Hotel in Northampton.

Millions of viewers across the world watched the first series of the show – with the first half of the second series already broadcast in America.

Heroes tells the story of a group of people with different incredible abilities.

Cheerleader Claire Bennet can regenerate if killed, Nathan Petrelli is a former hospice nurse with the ability to absorb the powers of others he has been near and Matt Parkman is a Los Angeles police officer with the ability to hear other people's thoughts.

The group all have a part to play in attempting to stop a bomb exploding in New York.

Other stars due to attend the event include Noah Gray-Cabey who plays a child prodigy and technopath Micah Sanders who has the ability to talk to electrical devices, giving him control of machines and electronic devices.

Jayma Mays, a waitress who has the ability to absorb knowledge will also attend.

Standard admission costs 78 and will include a souvenir programme, badge, entry into all the guest talks, a free autograph from each guest on a personal item, three themed parties and admission to the Saturday night quiz.
