Schoolboys assaulted and robbed in park

Two teenage schoolboys were robbed by a group of four other schoolboys in a Northampton park.

The boys were walking in Eastfield Park at about 3.50pm when they were approached by the group of four who assaulted them, stealing one's schoolbag and the other's bike before making off.

The bike was a silver Rhino mountain bike, the bag was a red Liverpool bag containing school items.

The offenders were described as follows: one was black, around 5ft 7ins tall, slim and wearing a red baseball cap and a black hooded top; the second was white, around 5ft 8ins tall, 15-16 years old with short brown hair. He was wearing a blazer and shirt.

The third was around the same age, white, 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a gold hat; the fourth was white, around the same age, 5ft 6ins tall and wearing what appeared to be school uniform.

Anyone who thinks they can identify this group of boys is asked to call police in Northampton on 08453 700700.
