Peter Andre is all set for Santa Pod extravaganza
Singer and reality television star Peter Andre is set to be the main attraction at Santa Pod raceway's Easter weekend events.
The circuit, in Podington, is usually filled with the sounds of high performance race machinery, but during the Easter weekend crowds will be treated to several musical shows, including a performance by the Australian singer.
The Mysterious Girl star will be performing songs from his new album Revelation on Easter Monday, April 5, before meeting VIP ticket holders and signing autographs for fans.
Peter famously married glamour model and businesswoman Katie Price, aka Jordan, after the pair met on ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2003.
The couple, who have two children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii, starred in several reality TV shows together but divorced in September last year.
A Santa Pod spokesman said: "With all original tour dates selling out in just a few days, and the extra dates added selling out just as quickly, this could be one of the few chances to see the talented singer in action this year.
"VIP tickets are strictly limited and will allow a rare opportunity for a photo with the star."
Miss Frank, a group which reached the finals of the X Factor last year,
will be performing at the raceway on Saturday, April 3 at 2pm.
And a High School Musical Tribute will perform on Sunday, April 4, at
2pm.
The Santa Pod spokesman added: "As well as a weekend of sublime musical entertainment, the show also boasts some of the fastest and loudest drag racing in the country with the fastest cars hitting 100mph in under a second and clocking over 300mph in a shade under five seconds.
"In fact, it's a real family weekend out with Monster Trucks and stunt shows, a full funfair, a live wrestling display and even helicopter rides – there will be something for everyone."
Ticket prices range from 12 in advance or 10 on the gate for the Friday up to 39 in advance or 50 on the gate for a fullfour-day pass.
Free camping and full facilities will be available on site over Easter weekend.
