Man taken to hospital following chip pan fire

A man was taken to hospital with burns after a chip pan fire at a house.

Three crews attended Church Way in Grendon around 8.50pm yesterday to deal with a blaze in a kitchen, which was severely damaged by fire.

There was heavy smoke damage to the ground floor and moderate smoke damage to the first and second floors.

One male suffered burns and was taken to hospital.

Crews from Earls Barton, Wellingborough and Moulton attended the incident.
