Flaming missile thrown at teenager
A TEENAGER was left needing stitches after a group threw a flaming missile at him and punched him in the face.
A group of males threw a lit piece of material at the 16-year-old as he cycled in High Street, Kettering, with a friend at about 4pm on Sunday.
The gang chased the teenager as he cycled down Meadow Road to Northfield Avenue.
They attacked the boy in a bus shelter near to Lidl in Northfield Avenue, with one punching him in the face before running off.
A passing motorist in a silver car stopped to help the victim.
The teenager’s lip need stitches.
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
