First look at new academy uniform
This is the uniform which will be worn by pupils at one of Kettering's new academies.
The new look has been revealed by the sponsors of Kettering Buccleuch Academy, which will replace Montagu School and Avondale infant and junior schools in September.
The new uniform will be free to those pupils moving across from the existing schools, although parents will have to buy shirts, trousers and skirts.
Pupils helped to choose their new uniform following consultation with children and parents by the United Learning Trust, which is sponsoring the academy.
The academy uniform will be navy blue, with pupils in reception to Year 3 wearing sweatshirts and students in years four to eight wearing v-neck jumpers.
Older students will wear blazers.

Principal Iain Denning said: "I would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the uniform consultation.
"Their suggestions have helped us design a uniform which is attractive, affordable and practical for all ages.
"With students joining the academy from three different schools, the new uniform will help to unite students and give them a shared identity in the new academy."

Years 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8:

Book bag (not for Years 7 and 8)
Years 9, 10 and 11:
Navy blazer with logo
Blue and white striped clip-on tie
Sky blue PE polo shirt with logo
Navy PE shorts.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy will open in the existing school buildings which will undergo some improvement works over the summer.
New and refurbished accommodation will be available from 2012.
