Database is key to security in Northampton

A database of emergency contacts for businesses across Northamptonshire has been relaunched to give managers peace of mind.

Companies can once again sign up to the KeyContact+ scheme, which means Northamptonshire Police can quickly get in touch with the keyholder of a business if a break-in is reported.

More than 1,100 firms are already members of the initiative.

Scheme administrator Heidi Brown said: "KeyContact+ exists to support businesses and notify keyholders about incidents at the premises.

"Should anything untoward happen at your premises we'll check our database and find out straight away who to contact and which services to use to secure the premises."

Businesses who sign up before the end of May can get discounted membership for 29.99 instead of 35. More information is available from Heidi Brown on Northampton 888041.
