County streets top housing rich list

Four roads in Northamptonshire are in the top-10 most expensive streets in the East Midlands.

Church Lane, in Stanford on Avon, Knights Hill, in Naseby, and Sandy Lane and Golf Lane, in Church Brampton, all made it into the rich list, compiled by property website Mouseprice.

Church Lane was fourth with an average house price of 876,000, Knights Hill was sixth with a valuation of 733,400, Sandy Lane was eighth with a valuation of 717,200 and Golf Lane was tenth with houses costing an average 709,600. The Ridgeway in Rothley, Leicestershire, was top with houses valued over 1.3m and four listed properties.
