Four-vehicle crash shuts road
A crash involving four vehicles on the A509 caused long tailbacks.
The collision at the Kettering Road sight in Isham yesterday lunchtime involved four drivers but no-one was seriously hurt.
One car had to be recovered and one lane of the road was closed from 12.40pm until 3pm.
Paramedics from the air ambulance were considering attending but were not needed.
While the roads were cleared hundreds of drivers were caught in the traffic and routes from the road became crowded
