Little learners discover rhyme
Babies, mums and dads take part in Rhyme Time at Irchester Library on Friday 20th January 2012.
Little learners are invited to discover singing and rhyming at regular sessions which take place at Irchester Library.
Rhymetime classes take place from 2.15pm to 2.45pm on Wednesdays and from 9.30am to 10am on Fridays at the library.
Babies and all children under five can attend with their parents.
The half-an-hour sessions held every week at the library, in High Street, consist of signing, rhyming and actions designed to help children learn.
Irchester Library supervisor Veronica Lane said the sessions were popular.
She said: “The classes are very beneficial because they teach children the importance of sharing, and also packing things away.
“We usually get about 18 parents with their children, but anyone is welcome to come along.”
The session times are subject to change and availability.
For more information on Rhymetime sessions call the library on 01933 312539.
Other sessions held at the library include Scrabble, crochet knit and natter and silver service.
