Pupils at a Corby school will have plenty of space for lessons and fun after two classrooms were transformed.
The refurbishment programme paid for by the county council at Beanfield Primary School means pupils from five to eight with special needs now have better facilities.
School deputy head Jane Lawrence said: “We are really impressed with the classrooms and the children really like them.
“We now have purpose-built work stations for the youngsters, as well as an interactive board with easier access for our pupils who are in wheelchairs.”
Former deputy head Lynne Wildman, now head of Weldon Primary School, opened one classroom and Jan Banham, the new head of governors, opened the other.
