Courses to help the unemployed
NEW courses are available to help unemployed people find their way back into work.
There are still spaces available at free courses at Kettering Centre for the Unemployed (KCU).
Spreadsheets Made Easy will show people how to use Microsoft Excel and do simple formulas to help manage money.
The other course, Introduction to the internet, email, and internet safety, will aim to teach computing beginners some online basics.
It will also show people how to set up an email account and how to browse the internet.
Both five-week courses start on Tuesday, January 24, at KCU’s centre in Stanier Close, Kettering.
The spreadsheet course takes place from 12.30pm to 2.30pm every Tuesday.
The internet workshops will be held from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Those who are interested in any of the sessions can contact Sue Yates on 07834006311 or Gill at KCU Ltd on 01536 481898.
