A post-mortem examination found he died of multiple organ failure as a result of a stab wound.

Today (Wednesday) Stewart, from Greig Walk in Corby, appeared at Northampton Crown Court in a hearing held over Skype and telephone conference because of the coronavirus lockdown.

He pleaded not guilty to murder and possession of a knife and will face a trial at a date yet to be fixed.

Judge Adrienne Lucking QC told Stewart he would be remanded in custody.
