Two hurt in crash

A MAN from Kettering and a 65-year-old woman from Rushden were involved in an accident on the A6 on Thursday.
A silver V-reg Vauxhall Corsa, driven by the Kettering man who is in his twenties, was travelling southbound when it hit a black Y-reg Honda Accord, the vehicle the Rushden woman was in.

The man was taken to hospital and was kept in overnight for treatment to broken ribs, cuts on his face, arms and hands.

The woman was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured wrist and collar bone.

Witnesses to the accident are are to phone the police on 01234 841212.
