Two young children and an adult had to be rescued by lifeboat crews after they were cut off by the tide on the Norfolk coast.
An adult and children, one aged six and one aged four, who were on holiday from Wellingborough at the time of the incident, were rescued by Wells lifeboat in Norfolk after they were caught out by the tide on Bob Hall's Sand yesterday.

The rescue happened at about 3.45pm and nobody was hurt, but it was the latest in several rescues of people getting caught out by the tide that the lifeboat has been involved in over the summer after.

Lifeboat operations manager Chris Hardy, said: "They had crossed the channel and had not heeded the warnings to come back to safety as the tide turned and came in.

"People don't realise how quickly the tide comes in. It's imperative when they hear the warning siren that they return to the landward side of the channel immediately."
