Rape case against Rushden man dropped

Charges have been dropped against a man accused of rape.
Darren Ball, 20, from Woodland Road, Rushden, had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges at Northampton Crown Court.

However the complainant phoned the police later to say the allegations were untrue. The case has now been dropped.
