A man is selling his soul on an internet auction site to raise money for charity.
Lee Frost has advertised his soul for sale on website eBay and has already received a 99p bid from a total stranger.

The 28 year-old plumber said: "It only cost 10p to list my soul for sale so it was a bit of a bargain and I am hoping to make a bit of profit.

"I don't really know if anyone will want to buy my soul, but if they do I will make it official and look into what was done historically with souls.

"My friends and family weren't that surprised I decided to do this. They are used to me doing mad things.

"My wife Alex doesn't know I have listed it yet so I could be in a lot of trouble."

Any money from the sale of the soul will go to charity, although he has not yet decided which one.

Mr Frost, of Beaufort Drive, Barton Seagrave, is the only person selling a soul on the internet site, which can have up to one million items listed at any time.

He said: "I have been getting a bit of grief from a few people who are religious saying I shouldn't do it but I will be dead so won't need it.

"I would say it is a pretty good one too."

The item listing reads: "a brand new pristine condition soul.

"This one comes with signed certification that you personally own the rights to this individuals soul - i.e mine.

"And on successful completion of death, my soul will officially become your property to do with as you will."

Mr Frost's soul will be on sale until September 28 and can be found on the site under the item number 320301112128.
