A nightclub worker who offered a young girl a lift home took her back to his house and raped her, a court heard today.
Robert Rekowski, 35, formerly of Bennett Road, Corby has been charged with two counts of rape.

His trial opened today at Northampton Crown Court.

After the jury was sworn in David Matthew, prosecuting, gave his opening statement.

He told the jury on Saturday, October 14, 2007 Rekowski offered the complainant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and her two friends a lift home from the Storm nightclub in Corby but instead of taking them home he took them to his house in Bennett Road.

When they arrived the woman asked to use his toilet and after entering the house she was forced upstairs to his bedroom where he became violent and raped her twice.

Rekowski has denied both charges.

The case continues.
