New appeal issued after fatal crash

Drivers who witnessed a fatal car crash are being sought by traffic police.
Officers from the road policing unit have issued a fresh appeal for information following an accident that killed 32-year-old Emma Counsell, of Barnwell Street, Kettering, on Stamford Road near Easton-on-the-Hill.

Police want anyone who was driving in the area on Monday, May 5, at around 3.40pm to contact them.

The head-on collision between a blue Peugeot 306 and a grey Nissan Primera took place near to the junction with High Street on bank holiday Monday.

Witnesses should contact officers on 08453 700700.
