A MAGICIAN has been honoured for more than 50 years of entertaining and performing tricks.
Northamptonshire Magicians’ Club held a special presentation this week for Colin Hooton, of Wellingborough, to mark his involvement and dedication to magic and entertainment since his teenage years.

His first public show was at the Parochial Rooms in Wollaston, followed by a show in London in September, 1955.

Since then, he has given many shows as a professional magician in Northamptonshire, London and abroad including in Paris and Bahrain.

The entertainer has also worked on the Orient Express, cruise liners and provided in-flight entertainment on a trip to Lapland for British Airways.

Mr Hooton has been a member of the Magic Circle for many years.
