Help needed to identify mystery man

Police are appealing for help from members of the public to idenfity a man found lying in a walkway in Corby.
The ambulance service called police last night after the man was discovered lying in the walkway in Oakley Road, underneath the railway bridge, at about 8.30pm.

He was taken to hospital but officers have been unable to identify him.

He was aged about 18 to 20-years-old, about 5ft 9in and of slim build. He was wearing a white zip-up top, grey tracksuit bottoms, white trainers, maroon socks and black gloves.

A police spokesman said: "It is unclear how the man came to be in the street last night.

"Officers are appealing for people who may have seen him, or a man of his description, in Corby last night."

Surely it would be more helpful if they took a photo of him and put it in the paper. DOH !! Whose gunna remember if their friend or family member went out wearing maroon socks ??
