Five men were arrested after 'two days of action' by officers from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit this week.
Police Officers from the Unit carried out five unrelated warrants at properties in Kettering, Irthlingborough and a village south of Northampton over Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1.

As a result five men, whose ages range from 40 to 73, were arrested on suspicion of making and possessing indecent abusive images of children.

All five have been interviewed and released on police bail pending further investigation. A substantial quantity of computer equipment was seized during the warrants - which were carried out under the Protection of Children Act 1978 - and this will now be subject to detailed investigation.

If found guilty, throw away the keys! Rehabilitation on predators of children is hugely unsuccessful.
