FIREFIGHTERS had to be called after a lit firework was pushed through someone's letterbox.
The incident took place in Jubilee Crescent, Wellingborough, at about 11.15pm yesterday.

Two fire crews from the town attended the incident.

The firework was out on their arrival and caused no further damage.

But the incident comes just 10 days after another one where a firework was posted through a letterbox in Swinburne Road, Wellingborough.

Pregnant mum Marie Davies, 29, had been putting her daughters Ann-Marie, six, and Fay, five, to bed when the firework went off, spraying a jet off sparks into the house, at around 8.25pm, on October 28.
